Lee Troutman Music

Lee Troutman is an award winning singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, sound engineer, and music producer based in Southern California. In his father’s home state of Kentucky he graduated from the University of Louisville with a degree in Marketing and developed a rich love for bluegrass music – regularly jamming with former members of Bill Monroe’s Bluegrass Boys. As the frontman and primary writer for his psych-rock band Several Hundred Peoplethey produced multiple albums with My Morning Jacket’s Kevin Ratterman. Lee and his songs have been featured live, on radio, and in movies and TVHe spent 5 years working as a sound mixer for NBC/Universal while the owner of Moving Mystery Recording Studio in Hollywood.  Stumbling into acting by proximity, Lee was cast in Renee Zellweger’s “Cinnamon Girl” and his current hometown of Oceanside’s Animal Kingdom.  In 2020 Lee received an AA in Music and also an AA in Human Behavioral Studies from MiraCosta College.
